Clark-Wildomar, LLC purchased 10.22 net acres in 2004. It is being developed as Phase 2 of the neighborhood shopping center known as Oak Creek Center, currently anchored by Albertsons, McDonalds and Chevron. The $20-million development will have 72,901 square feet of new retail space for a hardware store, physical fitness center, discount tire store, a restaurant, and other retail stores. There’s room to accommodate a two-story office building and a three-story hospitality suite hotel.

Construction began in Spring of 2007 with completion anticipated by the end of the year.
