In the summer of 2004, C.W. Clark, Inc. completed the purchase of this 19.11 acre parcel, located at the SWC of San Marcos Blvd. and Twin Oaks Valley Road in the San Marcos Heart of the City Master Plan. The cornerstones of the Heart of the City are San Marcos State University and the San Marcos City Hall, which lies just to the west of the C.W. Clark property. Phase I of the development will consist of approximately 43,500 square feet of retail space and approximately a 20,000 square foot, Class A office building and a free-standing 5,000 square foot restaurant pad.

Discretionary approvals were received in July 2007, with the commencement of construction estimated to be in the early summer of 2009.
