Based on past experience and innovative vision for the future, Clark-Lankford, LLC, with C.W. Clark, Inc. as managing member, won the competitive bid process to be master developers for redevelopment of Yuma’s historic riverfront area. The initial phase included the 150,000-square-foot administrative office facility for 204 city employees who were previously housed in 10 different locations. The $30 million City Hall, completed ahead of schedule in late 2002, features a state-of-the-art round council chamber, complete with two 15-foot video screens, electronic voting systems and television broadcast capabilities.

Plans are to begin construction of a 150-room Hilton Garden Inn that will be adjacent to a proposed 25,000-square- foot executive conference center in late 2007 with completion in 2008.

24,000-square-feet of retail and second-floor office space is planned across from a 49-unit residential apartment building, above 53,000-square-feet of first-floor specialty retail space.

Beginning in 2008 the second phase of the development will include a two-story, 32,000-square-foot office building overlooking the Yuma Main Canal and Yuma Crossing Historic Park. A 60-room boutique hotel with a health club, along with 40 town-houses and a 5,200-square-foot restaurant are also planned.
